Personal Background:

David Brown was born in Emmett Idaho and raised in the Treasure Valley. He married an amazing woman and school teacher by the name of Keesha Blaylock who grew up in Ontario, Oregon and together they have five children. His father, Blaine Brown, worked the night shift at a wood mill while his mother, Hazel, worked just as hard at home raising eight children and in various other jobs including as a counselor for struggling youth. Inspired by their work ethic and sense of duty to family and community, David pursued an education and a career that would enable him to help people overcome some of life’s greatest challenges. He spent about 10 years helping people with disabilities to find employment and to work through the Social Security Disability program. He finished his undergraduate work at Boise State University and completed a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Colorado, Denver. He then attended law school at Brigham Young University where he had an array of clinical and internship experiences, including work with a premier estate planning firm in Utah. After law school, the family moved to Missouri where David practiced civil litigation. In May, 2020 they moved back to the Treasure Valley area where David enjoys practicing in the areas of estate planning, probate, elder law, and disability law with a great legal team at Yturri Rose, LLP.
