Personal Background:

Zach grew up in Nome, Alaska. He spent much of his childhood traveling through Oregon and Idaho, because his mother is from the Willamette Valley and his father is from Filer, Idaho. Zach studied Political Science and Economics at the University of Idaho, where he was an active member of the student government. He was a member of the Law Review at George Mason University. Zach and his wife, Emily, have two boys, Oliver and Wyatt.

Prior to coming to Yturri Rose, Zach spent four years at an Alaska-based firm serving clients in regulatory proceedings and related litigation, most often representing regulated utilities and hunting-rights groups. Zach worked on transportation and energy policy before practicing law, first as an aide to Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and then at a large lobbying firm.
